アメリカえんれいそう (アメリカ延齢草) [Index] [Back] アメリカの南東部に分布しています。湿り気のある高原の林内に生え、高さは３０センチほどになります。葉は卵状菱形で白っぽい斑があり、３個が輪生します。花は黒褐色で、３月か４月ごろ咲きます。 ユリ科エンレイソウ属の多年草で、学名は Trillium cuneatum。英名は Nodding trillium。 The nodding trillium (Trillium cuneatum) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the southeastern United States. This herb grows in wettish upland woods, to 400 m elevationm and can reach about 30 cm in height. The leaves are three, ovate-diamond, whitish-mottled, and arranged in whorl. The flower is black-brown and bloom from March to April.
