南アメリカのブラジル、ギアナなどに分布する「ありあけかずら（有明葛）」の園芸品種です。半蔓性の低木で、高さは２メートルほどになります。革質の葉は倒披針形から長楕円形で、３〜４個が輪生します。夏から秋にかけて、鮮やかな黄色をした八重の花を咲かせます。

キョウチクトウ科アリアケカズラ属の常緑半蔓性低木で、学名は Allamanda cathartica cv. Stansill's Double。英名は Yellow allamanda 'Stansill's Double'。

The Yellow allamanda 'Stansill's Double' (Allamanda cathartica cv. Stansill's Double) belongs to Apocynaceae (the Dogbane family). It is a semi-vine small evergreen tree that is a cultivar of Golden trumpet distributed to Brazil, Guiana of South America. The tree grows up about 2 m in height. The leaves are leathery oblanceolate to oblong, and arranged in 3-4 whorled. The vivid yellow, bouble flowers bloom from summer to fall.
