Whorled water-pennywort belongs to Apiaceae (Carrot family). It is an
evergreen perennial herb that is native to North America. This herb occurs
in swamps or bogs and can reach 10-30 cm in height. The round leaves
with long petioles are borne on the water surface. The small white flowers
come in June through October.
