ハエマンツス・ムルチフロールス [Index] [Back] 熱帯アフリカが原産です。高さは３０〜４５センチになります。葉は濃緑色で互生し、花後に新しい葉がでます。初夏、茎頂に球状の散形花序をだし、朱赤色の筒状花を咲かせます。和名では「せんこうはなび（線香花火）」と呼ばれます。 ユリ科ハエマンツス属の常緑多年草で、学名は Haemanthus multiflorus (syn. Scadoxus multiflorus)。英名は Football lily、African blood lily。 The football lily (Haemanthus multiflorus) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to tropical Africa. This herb can reach 30-45 cm in height. The leaves are dark green, alternate and fresh ones appear after flowering.
