はりえにしだ (針金雀枝) [Index] [Back] 西ヨーロッパが原産です。日当たりの良い牧草地や潅木帯、荒れ地などに生え、高さは２〜３メートルになります。若い枝は緑色で、若い芽があり、葉は長さ１〜３センチの棘に変化しています。一年中、おもには早春に、黄色い蝶形花を咲かせます。果実は２センチほどの豆果です。種子は３０年のあいだ、生き続けます。  マメ科ハリエニシダ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Ulex europaeus。英名は Common gorse。  The Common gorse (Ulex europaeus) belongs to Fabeceae (the Pea family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to western Europe. This shrub grows in sunny pastures, scrugs, waste place, and -t can reach 2-3 m in height. The young stems are green, with the shoots and leaves modified into green spines, 1-3 cm long. The yellow papilionacenous flowers bloom throughout the year, but mainly in early spring. The fruits are legume 2 cm long.
