"Hime-iwa-goboushi" (Hosta longipes var. gracillima) belongs to Lilaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in the Kinki region of Honshu and Shikoku in Japan. It is a variant of the "Iwa-gihoushi", a small species that grows in damp rocky areas and along rivers, etc. From August to September, it grows flower stalks and produces pale light purple flowers.
