南アメリカ北部の熱帯地方が原産です。這い性のある「ピレア・ミクロフィラ（Pilea microphylla）」の近縁種ですが、本種は直立します。ごく小さな丸い葉が対生します。 |

イラクサ科ミズ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Pilea serpyllacea。英名はありません。 |

The Pilea serpyllacea belongs to Urticaceae (the Nettle family). It is an evergreen perennial that is native to the tropics of northern South America. It is a close relative of the creeping "Pilea microphylla", but this species is erect. It has very small, round leaves that grow in pairs. |
