Pelargonium denticulatum

南アフリカの西ケープ地方南部に分布しています。山地の峡谷や渓流の近傍に生え、高さは80〜100センチになります。葉は三角状で、細かく切れ込みます。4月から11月ごろ、淡いピンク色の花を3〜7個咲かせます。2個の上弁には濃赤色から紫色の模様があり、3個の下弁には狭い爪あとがあります。葉には「パイナップル」に似た強い香りがあります。
フウロソウ科テンジクアオイ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Pelargonium denticulatum。英名は Pine geranium、Fern-leaf geranium。
The pine geranium (Pelargonium denticulatum) belongs to Geraniaceae (the Geranium family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to South Africa; the southern Western Cape. This shrub grows in montane ravines and in close proximity to streams, and can reach 80-100 cm in height. The leaves are deltoid and divided into fine lobes. The 3-7 pale pink flowers bloom from April to November. The two upper petals have dark red to purple markings and the lower three have narrow claw marks. The leaves are strongly pineapple-like scented.
