ベロニカ・ウォーターペリーブルー [Index] [Back] 「ベロニカ」の園芸品種です。低く匍匐し、小山のように盛り上がり、高さは５〜１５センチになります。葉は光沢のある緑色で卵形、春にはワインレッドの色合いを帯び、一年のその他の時期は濃緑色に変わります。春と断続的に夏を通して、多くの濃い脈のある、淡い紫青色の花を咲かせます。  ゴマノハグサ科クワガタソウ属の多年草で、学名は Veronica cv. Waterperry Blue。英名は Waterperry blue speedwell。  The waterperry blue speedwell (Veronica cv. Waterperry Blue) belongs to Scrophulariaceae (the Figwort family). It is a perennial herb that is a garden origin species. This plant is low, creeping, mound-forming, and it can reach 5-15 cm in height. The leaves are shiny green, oval with tinges of burgundy in spring, turning dark green in color the rest of the year.
