かわらたけ (瓦茸)

世界中に広く分布しています。広葉樹や針葉樹の枯れ木に群生し、名前のとおり瓦を葺いたように見えます。半円形の傘は強靱な皮質で、表面には同心円状の模様があります。黒色や褐色、藍色など、色の変化に富んでいます。多糖ータンパク質複合体の「クレスチン」が発見され、今ではガンの免疫補助剤にも用いられています。 |

サルノコシカケ科シロアミタケ属の多年生キノコで、学名は Trametes versicolor。英名は Multicolored polypore。 |

The Multicolored polypore (Trametes versicolor) belongs to Polyporaceae (the Bracket fungi family). It is a perennial fungus that is distributed widely throughout the world. This fungus grows on deadwoods of broad-leaved tree and needle-leaved tree. The pileus is semicircular, tough leathery, concentric patterned on surface. There are many colored patterns such as black, brown or indigo. Krestin is a protein-bound polysaccharide, which was discovered in the 1970s. It is used as an anticancer immunologic adjuvant. |
