くらまごけ (鞍馬苔) [Index] [Back] わが国の各地をはじめ、朝鮮半島から東南アジアに分布しています。山地の林内や林縁に生え、小さな群落を形成しています。茎は細くて地表を這い、主茎は伸びて３０センチ以上になります。側枝は短くてよく分枝し、少し斜めに立ちます。葉は小さな緑色で、二つの形があります。和名は、京都の鞍馬山に由来します。 イワヒバ科イワヒバ属の常緑シダ植物で、学名は Selaginella remotifolia。 英名はありません。 "Kurama-goke" (Selaginella remotifolia) belongs to the family Selaginellaceae. It is a perennial pteridophyte that is distributed to Japan, the Korean Peninsula and Southeast Asia. This plant grows in montane forests or forest edges, forms little community. The stems are slender and crawl on the ground, and the main stem extend long up to 30 cm. The lateral branches are short, well-branched and standing in a little slanted.
