みやまあけぼのそう (深山曙草)

わが国の本州、早池峰山や北・中央・南アルプスそれに八ヶ岳に分布しています。高山の湿った岩石地や草原に生え、高さは１５〜３５センチになります。根生葉は楕円形または広卵形で全縁、茎葉は卵形で小さいものです。８月から９月ごろ、茎頂に暗紫色の花を１〜１０個、散房状に咲かせます。 |

リンドウ科センブリ属の多年草で、学名は Swertia perennis ssp. cuspidata。英名はありません。 |

"Miyama-akebono-so" (Swertia perennis ssp. cuspidata) belongs to Gentianaceae (the Gentian family). It is a perennial herb that is endemic to Japan, and distributed to Mt. Hayachine, the Northern-Central-Southern Alps and Mt. Yatsugatake. Ths herb grows in alpine screes and grasslands, and can reach 15-35 cm in height. The basal leaves are elliptic or broad ovate and entire, and the cauline leaves are ovate and small. The 1-10 dark purple flowers bloom in corymbs-like atop of stems from August to September. |
