人家の近いところに生え、また緑化植物としても利用されています。学名もまだ固定しているわけではありませんが、わが国が原産の「めのまんねんぐさ（雌の万年草）」の一品種という仮説に従っておきます。高さは１０〜２０センチになります。葉は卵形で光沢があります。６月から８月ごろ、黄色い花を咲かせます。

ベンケイソウ科マンネングサ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Sedum uniflorum ssp. japonicum f. morimurae。英名はありません。

"Morimura-mannen-gusa" (Sedum uniflorum ssp. japonicum f. morimurae) belongs to Crassulaceae (the Orpine family). It is an evergreen herb that grows near a private house and is also used as a greening plant. The scientific name is not fixed yet, but I will follow the tentative theory that it is a forme of "Meno-manen-gusa" (Sedum uniflorum ssp. japonicum) native to Japan. The height will be 10 to 20 cm. The leaves are ovate and shiny. The yellow flowers come in June to August.
