モラエア・ウィルローサ [Index] [Back] 南アフリカの西部、西ケープ地方が原産です。冬降雨地帯の平地や斜面に生え、高さは３０センチほどになります。早春に花茎を伸ばし、紫色から薄紫色、ときにピンク色やオレンジ色の花を咲かせます。外花披片には、黄色いネクターガイド（蜜標）があり目立ちます。 アヤメ科モラエア属の多年草で、学名は Moraea villosa。英名はありません。 Moraea villosa belongs to Iridaceae (the Iris family). It is a perennial herb that is native to the West Cape Province, in western South Africa. This herb grows in slopes and flats in the winter rainfall area and can reach about 30 cm in height.
