The Brazilian wild petunia (Ruellia devosiana) belongs to Acanthaceae (the Acanthus family). It is a perennial evergreen herb that is native to Brazil. This herb will be about 45 cm in height. The leaves are dark green with prominent silver veins and opposite. The back side is purple. The flowers are white tubular flowers with pale purple streaks. |
