ヨーロッパ南東部、ギリシャやクレタ島に分布しています。草原や潅木帯に生え、高さは５〜１０センチになります。葉は緑色で、縁には淡緑色の鋸歯状の斑紋があります。秋に花茎を伸ばし、ピンク色の花を咲かせます。花冠の目は深紅色で、葯は朱赤色です。 |

The Cyclamen graecum belongs to Primulaceae (the Primrose family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in southeastern Europe, Greece and Crete. This herb grows in grasslands and shrublands, and up to a height of 5-10 cm. The leaves are green and have light green serrated spots on the edges. In fall, flower stems are stretched and pink flowers are blooming. The eyes of the corolla are deep red, and the anther is red vermilion. |
