さとざくら・しらゆき (里桜・白雪)

「かすみざくら（霞桜）」系の園芸品種で「さとざくら（里桜）」の仲間に分類されます。４月中旬ごろ、真っ白な一重の花を咲かせます。花弁は丸く、萼筒や花柄がやや太く短めで毛があることが特徴です。むかし「さとざくら」の名所として有名だった東京の荒川堤にあった品種です。 |

バラ科サクラ属の落葉高木で、学名は Prunus lannesiana cv. Sirayuki。英名はありません。 |

"Sato-zakura 'Shirayuki'" belongs to Rosaceae (the Rose family). It is a tall deciduous tree that is a cultivar of the "Kasumi-zakura" family and is classified as a member of the "Sato-zakura" group. Around mid-April, a single white flower blooms. The petals are round, and the calyx and peduncle are slightly thick and short, with hair. It is a variety that was found on the Arakawa bank in Tokyo, which was once famous as a famous place for "Sato-zakura". |
