The Oregon stonecrop (Sedum oreganum) belongs to Crassulaceae (the Orpine family). It is a perennial evergreen herb that is native to the Pacific side of North America, from northern California to Alaska. This herb grows at the high elevations, and it can reach about 10 cm in height. It spreads by the runners. The leaves are spatulate and arranged in rosette atop of stems. They turn in reddish-brown to red. The yellow flowers bloom in a cyme atop of flowering stem in summer.
