デンドロビウム・エリプソフィルム

	東南アジアのピルマからタイ、ラオス、ベトナムそれに中国の雲南省が原産です。山地の林内に生え、樹木などに着生します。茎は杖に似て、高さは４０センチほどになり、楕円形でねじれた葉が二列につきます。春から夏にかけて、小さな白色と褐色の花を咲かせます。
	ラン科セッコク属の常緑多年草で、学名は Dendrobium ellipsophyllum。英名はありません。
	The Dendrobium ellipsophyllum belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to Burma, Thailand, Laos, Viet Nam and Yunnan of China. This herb grows in montane forests and is an epiphyte on the trees. The stem looks like cane and can reach about 40 cm in height with elliptic, disticous and twisted leaves. Small white and brown flowers come in spring and summer.
