わが国の各地をはじめ、朝鮮半島や中国それにウスリー、アムールに分布しています。この植物には、水中に生えるものと、湿地に生えるものがあります。水中では長さ５０センチになり、湿地では茎が直立して６〜２０センチになります。雌雄異株で、６月から８月ごろ、上部の葉腋に淡黄白色の小さな花を咲かせます。 |

アリノトウグサ科フサモ属の多年草で、学名は Myriophyllum ussuriense。英名は Ussurian water-milfoil。 |

The Ussurian water-milfoil (Myriophyllum ussuriense) belongs to the family Haloragaceae. It is a perenniak herb that is distributed not only in various parts of Japan, but also in the Korean Peninsula, China, Ussuri, and Amur. Some of these plants grow in water and some grow in wetlands. In water it can be 50 cm long, and in wetlands the stems can stand upright and grow to 6-20 cm. It is dioecious and blooms small pale yellowish white flowers on the upper axils from June to August. |
