エクメア・フルゲンス（珊瑚アナナス）

ブラジル原産です。樹上や岩の上に根で着生します。葉は剣状で革質、先端は丸く、１０数枚がロゼット状につきます。珊瑚の球のような紅色の花穂を出し、紫色の花を咲かせます。和名では「さんごアナナス（珊瑚アナナス）」と呼ばれます。 |

パイナップル科エクメア属の常緑多年草で、学名は Aechmea fulgens。英名はありません。 |

The Aechmea fulgens belongs to Bromeliaceae (the Pineapple family). It is an evergreen perennial that is native to Brazil. It grows on trees and rocks by its roots. The leaves are sword-shaped, leathery, and rounded at the tip, and are attached in rosettes of a dozen or more. It produces spikes of red, coral ball-like, and bloom purple flowers. It is called "Sango ananasu" in Japanese. |
