エスキナンサス・ロンギフロールス [Index] [Back] タイからマレーシア西部に分布しています。湿潤な熱帯バイオームに生え、樹木などに着生します。葉は楕円形で対生し、多肉質です。細くて硬い茎は垂れ下がって、その先に多数の花を咲かせます。花は朱赤色の筒状で、長さは１０センチほど、黄緑色の萼筒から突き出すように咲きます。 イワタバコ科エスキナンサス属の常緑小低木で、学名は Aeschynanthus longiflorus。英名は Long-flowered lipstick plant。 The Long-flowered lipstick plant (Aeschynanthus longiflorus) belongs to Gesneriaceae (the African violet family). It is an evergreen shrub that is found in western Malaysia and Thailand. It grows in wet tropical biomes and grows on trees. The leaves are elliptic and opposite, and fleshy. The thin, hard stems hang down and bear many flowers at the end.
