The Narrow-leaf agave (Agave striata) belongs to Agavaceae (the Agave family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed in the northern and eastern parts of Mexico. The size of the rosette is about 90 cm, and it grows in clusters. The leaves are turquoise, dusted with white powder, and often tinged red or purple. It also has fine serrations and sharp spines at the tip. When mature, it blooms yellow flowers, but has no flower stalks.
