The genus Aglaia belongs to the Meliaceae (the Mahogany family), it has about 100 species and distributed through Southeast Asia to Australia. They are evergreen small to tall trees which can reach 3-40 m in height. Leaves are simple, compound or imparipinnate, and leaflets are ovate, obovate or elliptic. Small yellow to white flowers in racemes are seen on leaf axils. The photos are a species native to Australia.
