あけぼのしゅすらん (曙繻子蘭)

わが国の各地をはじめ、台湾や朝鮮半島、南千島に分布しています。山地の林内に生え、茎は地面を這って斜上し、高さは５〜１０センチになります。葉は卵状楕円形で互生します。８月から９月ごろ、茎頂に短い総状花序をつけ淡紅色の花を咲かせます。唇弁は袋状に膨れ、内側に毛が生えます。台湾華語では、「童山白蘭」です。 |

ラン科シュスラン属の常緑多年草で、学名は Goodyera foliosa var. maximowicziana。英名はありません。 |

"Akebono-shusu-ran" (Goodyera foliosa var. maximowicziana) belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed throughout Japan, Taiwan, the Korean Peninsula, and the southern Kuril Islands. It grows in forests in mountainous areas. The stems crawl obliquely on the ground and are 5 to 10 cm tall. The leaves are ovate-elliptic and alternate, and around August to September, short racemes of pale red flowers are produced at the top of the stem. The labellum is pouch-like and hairy on the inside. In Taiwanese, it is called "童山白蘭". |
