あけぼのやだけ (曙矢竹)

わが国の本州から四国、九州に分布している「やだけ（矢竹）」の園芸品種です。桿は真っ直ぐに伸び、高さは３〜５メートルほどになります。春先にでる新葉にほのかな曙状の白斑が入るのが特徴です。 |

イネ科ヤダケ属の常緑タケ類で、学名は Pseudosasa japonica cv. Akebono。英名はありません。 |
|
|
"Akebono-yadake" (Pseudosasa japonica cv. Akebono) blongs to Poaceae (the Grass family). It is an evergreen bumboo that is a horticultural variety of the "Arrow bamboo", which is distributed in Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu in Japan. The rod grows straight and grows to a height of 3 to 5 m. It is characterized by the faint virescent white spots on its new leaves that appear in early spring. |
