ブラジルの北東部、バイア州（Bahia）に分布しています。高さは３．６メートルほどになり、茎を傷つけると白い乳汁がでます。葉は倒卵状披針形で対生し、濃緑色から灰緑色をしています。夏から秋にかけて、鮮やかな黄色いトランペット形の花を咲かせます。

キョウチクトウ科アリアケカズラ属の蔓性常緑小低木で、学名は Allamanda oenotheraefolia。英名は Golden trumpet bush。

The Golden trumpet bush (Allamanda oenotheraefolia) belongs to belongs to Apocynaceae (the Dogbane family). It is an evergreen shrub that is found in the northeastern part of Brazil, in the state of Bahia. It grows up to 3.6 m tall and produces a white milky juice when the stem is injured. The leaves are obovate-lanceolate, opposite, dark green to gray-green in color. Bright yellow trumpet-shaped flowers bloom from summer to fall.
