南アメリカのブラジルが原産です。高さは３メートルほどになります。葉は長楕円形で先端が尖り、４個が輪生します。両面とも無毛です。一年中、葉腋に黄色い筒状花を咲かせます。花冠の先端は５裂し、咽には赤橙色の筋があります。

キョウチクトウ科アリアケカズラ属の常緑低木で、学名は Allamanda schottii。英名は Bush allamanda。

The Bush allamanda (Allamanda schottii) belongs to belongs to Apocynaceae (the Dogbane family). It is a small evergreen tree that is native to Brazil in South America. It grows to about 3 m tall. The leaves are oblong, pointed at the tip, and arranged in 4 whorls. Both sides of leaf are hairless. Yellow tubular flowers bloom in the axils of the leaves all year round. The corolla is five lobed at the tip and has a reddish-orange streak on the throat.
