Aloe antandroi belongs to the Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed to the south and southwestern Madagascar. This herb is branching at base, and the stems grow up to a height of 60-100 cm. The leaves are triangular, gray-green, upper surface with few white spots, lower face with many spots. The reddish flowers bloom in the raceme. It is close to Aloe decaryi (spotless leaves) and Aloe millotii (much smaller leaves).
