アロカシア・クプレア [Index] [Back] 東南アジアのボルネオ島が原産です。熱帯雨林の低層に生え、高さは５０センチほどになります。葉は心形で長さ３０センチ、光沢のある濃いメタリックグリーンをしています。花は薄紫色の仏炎苞に包まれた肉穂花序につきます。 サトイモ科クワズイモ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Alocasia cuprea。英名はありません。 Alocasia cuprea belongs to Araceae (the Arum family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to Borneo Island. This herb grows in understories of rainforests and can reach about 50 cm in height.
