アロエ・フォステリー [Index] [Back] 南アフリカのムプマランガ州やリンポポ州に分布しています。夏に降雨のある、丘陵や平原の草原や潅木帯などに生え、高さは１．５〜２メートルになります。無茎です。葉は濃緑色で、多くの横帯状の斑紋があり、直径１メートルほどのロゼットになります。大きな円錐花序に、黄色やオレンジ、朱赤色などの筒状花を咲かせます。 ユリ科アロエ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Aloe fosteri。英名はありません。 Aloe fosteri belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is an evergreen herb that is native to South Africa; Mpumalanga and Limpopo Province. This herb grows in grassveld and bush on hills and plains, summer rainfall area, and it can reach 1.5-2 m in height. It is stemless. The leaves are dark green with numerous spots in transverse bands, and they grow in about 1 m wide rosette.
