南アフリカのケープ州が原産です。園芸上は「むしゃにしき（武者錦）」と呼ばれています。７０センチほどの高さで、白い斑点のある葉はロゼット状になります。冬に総状花序に赤朱色の花を咲かせます。 |

ユリ科アロエ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Aloe grandidentata。英名は Aloe grandidentata。 |

|
The Aloe grandidentata belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is an evergreen perennial that is native to the Cape Province of South Africa. Horticulturally, it is called "Musha-nishiki" in Japan. It is about 70 cm tall with rosette-shaped leaves with white spots. It produces reddish-red flowers in total inflorescences in winter. |
