The Anaphalis souliei belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in Sichuan Province, China. It grows in shrubby areas at elevations of 3700-3750 m and is 30-50 cm tall. The flower-heads, surrounded by white bracts, bloom at the end of the stem in late summer. There are no ray flowers. In Chinese, it is called "蜀西香青" (shu xi xiang qing).
