マダガスカル島が原産です。着生ランで、茎の長さは３０センチほどになります。線形の葉は革質で２列につきます。初夏、花茎を下垂させて白色の花を咲かせます。唇弁は大きく、湾曲した長い距があります。 |

ラン科アングレクム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Angraecum compactum。英名はありません。 |

|
The Angraecum compactum belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is a perennial evergreen herb that is native to the island of Madagascar. It is an epiphyte with stems up to 30 cm long. The linear leaves are leathery and are arranged in two rows. In early summer, white flowers bloom on drooping stems. The labellum is large, and there is a long, curved spur. |
