アングレクム・セスキペダーレ [Index] [Back] マダガスカル島の東部に分布しています。単茎性の着生ランで、高さは１メートルほどになります。葉は暗緑色の舌形で、肉厚です。冬に花茎を伸ばして、芳香のある白色の花を咲かせます。距は下垂して、３０〜３５センチの長さがあります。 ラン科アングレクム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Angraecum sesquipedale。英名はありません。 Angraecum sesquipedale belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed in east Madagascar Island. This orchid is single-stem and an epiphyte, can reach about 1 m in height. Leaves are dark green, tongue-shaped and thick. Fragrant white flowers come on the flower stalk in winter.
