The Rose rock cress (Arabis blepharophylla) belongs to Brassicaceae (the Mustard family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in Mt. San Bruno, California, the United States. It grows in rocky gravel on ridges and is 5 to 30 cm tall. The basal leaves are obovate to oblanceolate, leathery and shiny, with prominent hairs on the edges. From March to May, the flower stalks grow and produce fragrant, reddish purple to pink flowers.
