アサリナ・スカンデンス [Index] [Back] メキシコが原産です。巻きひげ状の葉柄や花柄で近くの植物にのぼり、高さは１．８〜２．４メートルになります。葉は明るい緑色、心形から鏃形で互生します。花は「きんぎょそう」のような筒状花で、濃い紫色に白色の咽があります。初夏から秋に咲きます。地上部は、冬に枯死します。 ゴマノハグサ科アサリナ属の多年草で、学名は Asarina scandens。英名は Twining snapdragon。 The Twining snapdragon (Asarina scandens) belongs to Scrophulariaceae (the Figwort family). It is a perennial herb that is native to Mexico. This herb climbs up adjascent plants by tendril-like petioles and peduncles, and can reach 1.8-2.4 m in height. The leaves are bright green, heart to arrow-shaped, and arrranged in alternate. The flowers are tubular, snapdragon-like, dark purple with white throats, and bloom from early summer to fall.
