アスコケントルム・ガライ [Index] [Back] ヒマラヤからインドシナ半島に分布する着生ランです。茎は木質化して、高さは２０センチほどになります。葉は線形で、厚い革質です。春から初夏にかけて、直立した花茎を伸ばして、直径１センチほどの鮮黄色の花を多数咲かせます。 ラン科アスコケントルム属の常緑多年草で、学名は Ascocentrum garayi。英名はありません。 Ascocentrum garayi belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is an epiphyte and native from the Himalayas to the Indo-china Peninsula. The stem is woody and can reach about 20 cm in height. The leaves are linear, thick and leathery.
