アッタレア・クラッシスパタ [Index] [Back] ハイチの南西部の固有種です。低地の岩場や荒れ地に生え、高さは２０メートル以上になります。分岐しない幹は、直径３５センチ以上になります。葉は長く、１５〜１９対の羽状複葉です。このヤシは野生から収穫され、食料や木材など地元の用途に利用されます。  ヤシ科アッタレア属の常緑高木で、学名は Attalea crassispatha。英名はありません。  Attalea crassispatha belongs to Arecaceae (the Palm family). It is a tall evergreen tree that is endemic to southwest Haiti. This tree grows in rocky and disturbed areas at low elevations, and can reach up to 20 m in height. The unbranched stem can be up to 35 cm in diameter. The leaves are long, 15-19 pinnately compound.
