The Baby echeveria (Echeveria derenbergii) belongs to Crassulaceae (the Orpine family). It is an evergreen herb that is native to Oaxaca in southern Mexico. It forms rosettes, 10 cm tall and 5 cm in diameter, and grows in clusters. The leaves are covered with white powder and have reddish edges. In summer, the flower stalks grow and produce reddish yellow bell-shaped flowers. Horticulturally in Japan, it is called "seiya" (meaning "still night").
