The Echeveria carnicolor belongs to Crassulaceae (the Orpine family). It is an evergreen herb that is native to Mexico. The yellow-green leaves are fleshy and white-powdered, forming a rosette, with long flower stalks and pale carmine flowers from January to March. Horticulturally, it is also called "銀明水" (Ginmeisui) in Japan.
