The Plush plant (Echeveria harmsii) belongs to Crassulaceae (the Orpine family). It is an evergreen herb that is native to Mexico. It is a long-stemmed species that grows to a height of 20-25 cm. The leaves are light green, spatulate, with reddish tips and covered with white hairs. From late spring to summer, the flower stalks grow and produce racemes of orange-red flowers with yellow tips. Horticulturally, it is called "Hana-tsusaka" in Japan, and garden varieties have also been produced.
