オーストラリアが原産です。内陸部の日当たりの良い乾燥地に生え、高さは１〜２メートルになります。枝や披針形の葉は銀白色の軟毛に被われています。春から夏にかけて、淡い赤紫色の花を咲かせます。 |

The Emu bush (Eremophila nivea) belongs to the family Myoporaceae. It is an evergreen shrub that is native to Australia. It grows inland in sunny, dry areas and grows 1-2 m tall. The branches and lanceolate leaves are covered with silvery-white soft hairs. Pale reddish-purple flowers bloom from spring to summer. |
