エリオフォルム・アングスティフォリウム [Index] [Back] ヨーロッパの中部から北部、シベリア、北アメリカに分布しています。水辺や湿地帯などに生え、高さは２０〜５０センチになります。葉はほとんど葉身がなく鞘だけです。６月から８月ごろ、茎頂に綿のような白い花を４〜５個、下垂して咲かせます。 カヤツリグサ科ワタスゲ属の多年草で、学名は Eriophorum angustifolium。英名は Common cottongrass。 The Common cottongrass belongs to Cyperaceae (the Sedge family). It is a perennial herb that is native to central and northern Europe, Siberia and North America. This herb occurs in water's edges or marshes and can reach 20-50 cm in height. The leaves have leaf blades scarcely, only vaginas.
