The Olympic mountain daisy (Erigeron flettii) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is a native of the Olympic Mountains of Washington State in the western United States. It grows in subalpine to alpine zones and is 5-15 cm tall. The stems are slightly hairy, and the leaves are gray-green, oblanceolate, and basal. In summer, the flower stalks grow and produce white or purple flowers.
