エリゲロン・リネアリス [Index] [Back] 北アメリカの西部、ブリッティッシュコロンビアから南はワイオミング州、ネバダ州北部それにカリフォルニア州モノ郡までが原産です。「やまよもぎ」や草原、岩場などに生え、高さは２０センチほどになります。葉は緑白色、長くて細く、ほとんど茎の基部のあたりに集まります。黄色い頭花が、夏を通して咲きます。頭花には、多くの黄色い筒状がある中心部と、２５〜４５個ほどの明るい黄色またはクリーム色の舌状花による縁飾りがあります。  キク科ムカシヨモギ属の多年草で、学名は Erigeron linearis。英名は Desert yellow fleabane、Narrow leaved fleabane。  The desert yellow fleabane (Erigeron linearis) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is native to western North America from British Columbia as far south as Wyoming, northern Nevada and Mono County in California. This herb grows in sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata), grasslands, and rocky areas, and can reach 20 cm in height. The leaves are greenish-white, long and narrow, mostly clustered around the base of the stem. The yollow flower heads bloom all through the summer. It has a center of many golden yellow disc florets and a fringe of 25-45 pale to bright yellow or cream-colored ray florets.  アメリカ・オレゴン州ブキャナンにて、2013年06月11日撮影。  Shu Suehiro shu@botanic.jp
