Musa x paradisiaca の３倍体で、品種群としてはＡＢＢ栽培型です。丈夫で耐寒性があり、高さは４．５メートルに達します。それは強い茎と根系を持ち、強風にも耐えます。葉は銀緑色、そして果物は青緑色です。果実は中くらいの大きさで、果肉は雪のように白いです。デザートバナナの一種で、果物の品質は優れています。

The Ice cream banana (Musa x paradisiaca cv. Ice Cream) belongs to the Musaceae (the Banana family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is a triploid of Musa x paradisiaca and belongs to ABB cultivated type. It is hardy, cold tolerant and reaches up to 4.5 m in height. It stands up to the wind well having a strong stem and root system. The leaves are a silver-green, and the fruit is blue-green. The fruit is medium sized and the flesh is snow white. It is one of dessert bananas, and the quality of the fruit is excellent.
