いでゆこごめ (出湯小米) [Index] [Back] 微細な紅藻で、世界各地の高温強酸性温泉や湿地、湿り気のある酸性土壌などに生息しています。一属一種です。栄養素を得るために光合成をしています。クロロフィルのほかに、紅色の色素たんぱく質、フィコエリスリンが含まれています。 イデユコゴメ科キアニディウム属の紅藻類で、学名は Cyanidium caldarium。英名はありません。 Cyanidium caldarium belongs to the Cyanidiaceae family. It is a microscopic red algae that is found in acidic hot streams, bogs, and moist acidic soils all over the world. It is the only species in the genus Cyanidium.
