アフリカのコンゴが原産です。高さは４５〜９０センチになります。温度があれば周年、葉腋に赤と黄色のツートンカラーの花を咲かせます。長い距が目立ちます。詳細な情報は見あたりません。

ツリフネソウ科ツリフネソウ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Impatiens congolensis。英名は Congo cockatoo、Parrot plant。

Congo cockatoo (Impatiens congolensis) belongs to the Balsaminaceae (the Balsam family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is native to Congo in Africa. This herb can reach 45-90 cm in height. The red and yellow two-toned flowers bloom on the axils year-round if the temperature keeps comfortable. We cannot found more information about this species.
