いとすすき (糸薄) [Index] [Back] わが国をはじめ、東アジアに広く分布する「すすき（薄）」の一品種です。高さは１〜２メートルになります。糸のように細い葉が叢生します。８月から１０月ごろ、花茎の先に多くの花序の枝をだして小穂をつけます。Ｃ４植物（Ｃ４型光合成を行う植物）です。 イネ科ススキ属の多年草で、学名は Miscanthus sinensis f. gracillimus。英名は Threadleaf eulalia。 The Threadleaf eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis f. gracillimus) belongs to Poaceae (the Grass family). It is a perennial herb that is a form of "Eulalia" (Miscanthus sinensis); native to Japan and East Asia. The leaves are threadlike narrow and clumping. The amny cluster-branches are borne on the flowering stem and bear spikelets from August to October.
